Role responsibilities:
- As Structural Design Engineer you will be working as part of a team through all lifecycle stages in the design phase of the project
- Interact with all project role players (including clients, professional teams, contractors) and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, records, reports, schedules, documentation, and filing;
- Timeously identify and report on risks and issues and proactively respond in addressing them;
To be successful you will have:
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Structural Design Engineer in buildings with at least 2 years experience in the Middle East.
- Strong technical capability with reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast and post-tensioned structures.
- Experience with construction engineering and Contractor Design & Build projects. Having Site supervision experience is preferred.
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary project team and holds a sound understanding of different team roles, responsibilities, and relationships.
- Ability to function well as part of a team.
- Software proficiency in MS Office, ETABS, StatiCa, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, IDEA StatiCa, Strand 7, REVIT, Rhino, and PROKON.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
