Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Supervising Engineer. The Supervising Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical designs, supervising construction progress, and ensuring resources are efficiently allocated. The role also involves providing technical guidance to team members and reporting project development to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of documented experience
- Valid Engineer of registration (mandatory)
- Passing the Abu Dhabi specialist exam is preferred
- At least 3 years of consultancy experience in UAE preferably in Abu Dhabi
- Strong technical expertise in engineering design, construction supervision, and quality assurance
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy management
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and adapt to project requirements
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED accreditation) and fluency in English and Arabic are advantageous
