Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
Assign daily duties and inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency.
Train, coach, and support housekeeping colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Monitor inventory and request housekeeping supplies when needed.
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering team for timely repairs.
Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, performance reviews, and administrative tasks.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
