Raya Trade; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Supervisor (Merchandising).
What will you do
- Develop and implement effective merchandising plans that align with company objectives and market trends.
- Identify and select products based on market demand, sales data, and consumer preferences.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover and reduce overstock or stockouts.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate the performance of merchandise and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the design and execution of in-store displays to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and store operations teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals.
- Manage merchandising budgets to achieve cost-effectiveness and profitability targets.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff and store teams on merchandising standards and techniques.
