About the Role

We are looking for Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Joe's Backyard JIC. Joe's Backyard is a vibrant, laid-back lifestyle venue offering a relaxed outdoor dining experience with stunning views. Known for its casual atmosphere, live entertainment, and approachable food and beverage offering, the venue blends comfort with energy, making it an ideal destination for social gatherings, sunset moments, and informal dining.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage through effective planning and organization
  • Assume Assistant Manager duties in their absence
  • Oversee opening, mid, and closing shift operations
  • Complete all required restaurant documentation, including staff evaluations and scheduling
  • Ensure proper functioning of restaurant equipment and machinery
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards across all areas
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and support sales and profitability targets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Supervise cashier opening and closing procedures
  • Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and achieve objectives
  • Provide ongoing feedback, manage discipline, and set clear performance expectations
  • Support onboarding, training programs, and staff rotation schedules
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities and ensure role clarity
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and lead by example
  • Ensure restaurant security and prevent internal and external theft
  • Perform additional duties as required by management

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Business Administration or from a recognized Hospitality School
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
