Role Overview

The Supplier Registration Manager is responsible for overseeing the full supplier onboarding and registration lifecycle from application through approval and activation. This role ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous process improvement to support both operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Onboarding & Registration

  • Manage the full supplier registration lifecycle from application to activation
  • Ensure supplier information is complete, accurate, and properly maintained
  • Review and validate company profiles, certifications, licenses, tax forms, and banking details

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure supplier registration processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate due diligence, sanctions screening, financial and HSE checks where applicable
  • Serve as the point of contact for supplier audit and compliance inquiries

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams
  • Provide guidance to internal users and suppliers on registration processes and systems
  • Resolve registration issues and escalations efficiently

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain supplier master data integrity within ERP or supplier management systems
  • Generate dashboards and reports on registration status, compliance gaps, and KPIs
  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Develop and enhance supplier registration policies, procedures, and controls
  • Lead automation and process streamlining initiatives
  • Support change management and training related to system or process updates

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • Professional certification such as CIPS (desirable)

Experience:

  • 810 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain
  • Experience managing supplier registration across multiple categories (preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of supplier onboarding controls and master data management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP or supplier management systems and reporting tools (preferred)
