BBM Foods a growing food distribution company specializing in premium fresh produce and other quality food products. We serve the food service and wholesale with a commitment to consistency, quality, and value. As we expand, we are looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Executive. We are looking for a Purchasing / Supply Chain Executive to support our sourcing operations, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure seamless product availability across our network. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in handling perishable food categories, international procurement, and demand planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase fresh and frozen food products from approved suppliers across multiple origins.
- Manage daily purchasing activities, including price negotiations, order placement, and shipment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and align purchases with sales forecasts and demand trends.
- Review and validate documentation such as invoices, health certificates, CoA, packing lists, BL/AWB, and import requirements.
- Work closely with QC and operations teams to ensure product quality and specifications are met.
- Track market trends, seasonal availability, and price movements to support buying decisions.
- Maintain accurate records, purchase reports, and supplier performance dashboards.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen product range and supply continuity.
- Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and quality issues promptly to protect supply reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 24 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in food distribution, produce, meat, or seafood.
- Strong understanding of import processes, cold chain logistics, and perishable product handling.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts efficiently.

Preferred Skills:
