Job Description

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations. Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes, support business goals, and deliver customer satisfaction through cost-effective strategies and timely delivery of materials and products

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  2. Forecast demand, plan production schedules, and optimize inventory levels
  3. Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  4. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals and long-term partnerships.
  5. Evaluate and select reliable suppliers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  6. Oversee the logistics network to ensure smooth and timely distribution of products.
  7. Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing holding costs.
  8. Collaborate with transportation providers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
  9. Implement inventory optimization techniques and manage inventory accuracy.
  10. Identify, analyze, and monitor areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  11. Monitor potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
  12. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless distribution processes.
  13. Develop and manage the supply chain budget.
  14. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.
  15. Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations across the supply chain.
  16. Work collaboratively with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.
  17. Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  18. Conduct performance evaluations and provide developmental opportunities.
  19. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
  20. Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience:

10+ Years of experience (3-5 in managerial level)
