Job Description

Main job duties and responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of food ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies.
  2. Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and performance to maintain quality standards and reliable supply.
  3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to optimize costs and ensure favorable terms.
  4. Oversee inventory planning and stock control to prevent shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
  5. Approve purchase orders and ensure timely delivery in coordination with warehouse and kitchen operations teams.
  6. Monitor demand forecasts and coordinate with operations to align supply with production requirements.
  7. Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations, HACCP requirements, and internal quality standards.
  8. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery lead time, pricing stability, and compliance with food safety standards.
  9. Manage warehousing, storage conditions, and distribution processes to maintain product integrity.
  10. Track supply chain KPIs (cost, lead time, waste, service level) and prepare periodic performance reports.
  11. Coordinate with Finance to validate invoices, manage payment terms, and control procurement budgets.
  12. Prepare detailed supply chain performance reports covering food cost, wastage percentage, supplier scorecards, and stock turnover ratios.
  13. Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job's specialty.

Educational background and previous experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Min. 8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the food & beverage, hospitality, or cloud kitchen industry.
  3. Hands-on experience using Odoo.

Knowledge and Functional Skills:

  1. Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  4. Ability to analyze cost structures, supplier quotations, and price trends.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. Problem-solving ability with a focus on operational efficiency and cost optimization.
