System BIM Coordinator
We are looking a BIM Coordinator to support the BIM Manager in the coordination of digital models for a major rail infrastructure Metro project.
The successful candidate will contribute to the integration and coordination of multidisciplinary models produced by project teams and external partners, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and exchange protocols.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate digital models produced by project subsystems and design teams.
- Lead clash detection processes and support the resolution of coordination issues.
- Support BIM coordination meetings using federated models as reference.
- Monitor model development and ensure consistency with civil engineering interface studies.
- Manage model exchanges using collaborative platforms such as ProjectWise .
- Ensure traceability and proper archiving of digital models.
- Deliver Project BIM processes, methodologies and guidance for the collaborative production, maintenance and delivery of information and data
- Responsible for managing the overall project modelling tactics and BIM output through all delivery stages of the project for his scope
- Lead Integration design in BIM and built meetings (geometrical clashes and required metadata)
- Follows delivery schedule of Civil Work design in BIM and subsystem installation design in BIM
- Review the submitted models for interferences, level of details quality
- Assist the Design Civil Work interface & BIM Manager in the management of design development
- Assist the Design Civil Work interface & BIM Manager in the check of the deliverables as part of the System technical validation.
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM Engineering / Technical functions on project
- Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in BIM coordination on large infrastructure or rail projects'Railway knowledge is appreciated
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes and digital model coordination
- Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Revit & Civil 3D
- Familiarity with collaborative environments such as ProjectWise
- Ability to coordinate multiple technical disciplines and manage interfaces.
- Capability to collaborate with other modellers from any system
- Proactively coordinate with Project teams
- Able of modifying models or CADs from the model
- Able to execute multidisciplinary metadata checking
- Able to execute multiple system design coordination, clash detection or volume clearance checking
- Understanding of the CDE codification and processes,
- Possess Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Fluent in English and Contract language.
