A field-based Deployment Technician role to support our team, supporting the renovation of an existing radio communication system. The role involves hands-on work with electronic equipment, networked systems, and application software across 20 sites nationwide, under daily supervision of a Deployment Engineer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and configure hardware components including servers, workstations, and networking equipment
- Deploy operating systems, drivers, and application software
- Conduct system verification tasks post-deployment and troubleshoot deployment issues
- Monitor system health in live operations and resolve software faults
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks
- Apply patches and software upgrades as required
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Update installation and maintenance documentation as needed
- Provide on-site technical support to the customer
- Submit daily reports on installation progress
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid UAE driver's license (travel across 20 sites is mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with hardware installation and configuration (servers, workstations, networking equipment)
- Proficiency in deploying operating systems and application software
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
- Experience in system monitoring and preventive maintenance
- Good documentation and reporting discipline
- Ability to obtain UAE security clearance to work on military bases
- Comfortable working in a field-based, high-travel environment
