We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to manage and support enterprise identity, server infrastructure, and Microsoft cloud services within a managed services environment. The role focuses on Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 administration, security hardening, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards at customer premises.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management
- Manage on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD identity lifecycle.
- Create, modify, and disable users, groups, OUs, GPOs, and access roles.
- Conduct periodic AD security reviews and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Microsoft 365 & Azure Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including mailboxes, licensing, and protection policies.
- Monitor O365 and Azure alerts and implement security recommendations.
Security & Compliance
- Perform vulnerability mitigation activities and coordinate closures with cybersecurity teams.
- Maintain compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and security baselines.
- Monitor log collectors for anomalies and escalate issues when required.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage monthly and quarterly server patching cycles.
- Troubleshoot server, login, and identity-related issues.
- Support DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Server environments.
- Collaborate with backup teams to conduct restore testing and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Prepare monthly and annual technical reports.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory architecture and administration.
- Solid experience with Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in security hardening and vulnerability mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
