Mission & Responsibilities
The System Engineer is responsible for the development of the different system functions in the power electronics related products (Inverters, On Board Chargers and DC/DC converters) according to state of the art know-how, ASPICE and ISO 26262. The responsibilities of the system engineer are summarized below:
- Contribute to the RFQ phase for the requirements assessment and the customer discussions in the project
- Communicate professionally and autonomously with the customer and the team members.
- Design, Analyze and Review detailed system requirements.
- Simulate Electromagnetic behavior of synchronous machines (PMSM,EESM) and the associated power electronics equipment (Inverters, DC/DC converters etc...)
- Create all the necessary technical documents, data sheets and descriptions, worst case analysis
- Work with the system architect regarding the interfaces, and the system requirements in close coordination with the HW / SW / MD architects
- Support the different stakeholders from SW, Sys, HW, Testing
- Conduct reviews for the SW Reqs, SW Architecture, System integration test cases, System Test cases
- Support the construction team in creating an efficient cross-project system architecture and ensuring compatibility with the project-specific architecture
- Follow defined project processes/guidelines/checklists and ensure process conformance.
- Report work progress continuously through attendance of daily & weekly project internal meetings.
- Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible.
- Raise flags proactively for any issue that can impact his/her project or team.
- Perform all the activities using the agreed internal/external configuration management tool
