We're looking for Senior Systems Engineer / IT Infrastructure Engineer

Work Week: 5 Days / Rotational On-Call Support
Department: IT Infrastructure & Operations
Reports To: IT Portfolio Manager
Role Overview
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be the final tier of technical expertise. You are responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of complex IT infrastructure. You will act as a last-level specialist, ensuring stable, secure, and standardized IT services across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Ops: Manage the lifecycle of specialized IT topics including Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox), Terminal Servers, Linux/Windows environments, and Backup/Recovery (Veeam).
- Security & Monitoring: Oversee antivirus/endpoint protection, secure file transfer (SFT), and comprehensive monitoring solutions.
- Expert Support: Independently handle incidents, problems, and escalations up to last-level support.
- Project Coordination: Lead technical designs for IT projects and coordinate deliverables with external service providers and internal teams.
- Automation: Design and implement automation solutions (scripting) and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- ITSM Roles: Act as Incident, Problem, or Change Manager while adhering to strict ISMS and confidentiality policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on systems engineering in enterprise environments.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, and Veeam.
- Certifications: ITILv4 Foundation.
Language Proficiency:
- English: Minimum B1 Level (Fluent).
