System Network Administrator

Job Description

Looking for a skilled and proactive Senior System and Network Administrator with 3 to 4 years of solid, hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-level IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex IT challenges, ensuring system reliability, and improving network performance while maintaining strong security practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing core infrastructure components including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization environments, network devices, and backup systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring uptime, security, and efficiency across our IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain-related services.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage virtual environments using platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Implement and maintain backup solutions, ensuring regular testing of disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor and support network devices (routers, switches), ensuring proper routing and switching configurations.
• Configure and manage firewalls, enforce network security policies, and perform regular audits.
• Respond to infrastructure incidents, performing root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Participate in infrastructure improvement projects, capacity planning, and system upgrades.
• Document all configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior administrators when needed.
