About the Role

We are seeking an experienced System Admin Supervisor to lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure and system administration functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of all IT systems while supervising the system administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the system administration team.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and access controls.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and backups.
  • Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are tested and updated regularly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance contracts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and incidents.
  • Prepare system performance and security reports for management.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to IT staff and end-users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • 57 years of experience in system administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
