Pacha New York is a large-scale music and nightlife venue located in Brooklyn, presenting global electronic artists, live performances, and cultural programming. Position Overview

Pacha New York is seeking a Systems & IT Manager to lead and execute all on-site IT operations, infrastructure management, and live-event technical support for the venue.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining high-availability systems in a high-energy, late-night entertainment environment. The position works closely with Corporate IT to ensure compliance with global standards while delivering local operational excellence across networks, POS, ticketing, security systems, and infrastructure.

This role requires availability during live events, including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain IT systems in line with corporate standards and architecture.
  • Provide hands-on support across network, servers, endpoints, POS, and ticketing systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, wireless).
  • Administer VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows servers, user devices, and operational technology.
  • Proactively monitor systems to ensure uptime during peak operations.
  • Act as the on-site technical lead during live events and late-night operations.
  • Conduct pre-event system checks and provide real-time troubleshooting.
  • Partner with venue operations teams to maintain full technical readiness.
  • Apply corporate security configurations, patching, and safeguards.
  • Ensure network and virtual infrastructure align with approved security baselines.
  • Support audits and escalate security incidents to the central cybersecurity team.
  • Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades.
  • Support infrastructure improvements and maintain accurate system documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or venue-based IT management.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking (switching, routing, VLANs, wireless).
  • Experience managing VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting POS systems and ticketing platforms (nightlife, hospitality, or live events preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments and endpoint management.
  • Experience in high-availability or live-event environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and late nights.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary Range: USD 95,000 105,000 per year (Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
