Job Purpose

The Vendor Management Officer supports the Procurement and Vendor Management teams in maintaining accurate and reliable supplier data, assisting with vendor registration, qualification, performance monitoring, and system updates.

The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and effective vendor lifecycle management through Microsoft Dynamics and related procurement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Data & System Management

  • Maintain, update, and monitor vendor master data within Microsoft Dynamics and related procurement systems
  • Support vendor data cleansing, validation, and classification activities
  • Assist in mapping vendors to appropriate categories, sub-categories, and relevant classification codes

Vendor Registration & Qualification Support

  • Support vendor onboarding and registration processes in line with procurement policies
  • Assist in reviewing vendor documentation and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve missing, incomplete, or incorrect information
  • Support vendor pre-qualification and re-qualification activities

Vendor Performance & Reporting

  • Assist in collecting, tracking, and maintaining vendor performance data
  • Support the preparation of basic reports and dashboards, including KPIs, compliance status, and performance summaries

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following or a related field with a GPA not less than (4 out of 5 or3 out 4):
    • Management Information Systems (MIS)
    • Engineering (any)
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Finance
Experience

  • 02 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Internship or trainee experience in procurement or vendor management is an advantage
  • Hands-on or academic exposure to ERP systems procurement modules is an advantage, Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Basic working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft dynamics is preferred.
  • Understanding of data management principles and system-based processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level)
  • Familiarity with procurement or vendor management systems is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of procurement or supply chain concepts
  • Exposure to vendor registration, classification, or performance tracking processes

  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to procurement and vendor management processes
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
