Job Description

  • Design and develop insightful Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
  • Ensure that the data visualization design is aligned with the overall data strategy and business goals.
  • Optimize existing Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) to create dynamic dashboards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and integrity across dashboards.
  • Provide support for ad hoc data requests and dashboard enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Tableau and data visualization.
  • Leverage advanced Tableau features such as calculations, parameters, level of detail (LOD) expressions, and Tableau Prep for data cleaning and transformation.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to present complex data in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard design and development (Mandatory)
  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep. (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and KPIs to align visualizations with business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
