Job Overview
We are hiring skilled Tailors with experience in couture or luxury garments to support the creation of made-to-measure gowns and evening dresses. This role focuses on garment construction, alterations, and finishing to couture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch and assemble couture gowns and evening wear as per specifications
- Perform alterations and adjustments after fittings
- Execute hand-finishing and detailing work to high-quality standards
- Work with delicate, high-end fabrics such as silk, lace, and tulle
- Support master cutters and designers during fittings and production
- Ensure timelines and quality standards are consistently met
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a tailor in a luxury or couture environment
- Strong stitching, alteration, and finishing skills
- Understanding of garment fit and proportions
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
