About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Tailor to join our flagship boutique in Dubai. The ideal candidate embodies the excellence of Italian craftsmanship, ensuring every garment meets the highest standards of fit and finish. You will be the technical expert for our Made-to-Measure (MTM) services and high-end sartorial alterations.
Responsibilities
- Fitting & Pinning: Conduct professional fitting sessions with VIP clients, providing expert advice on silhouettes, style, and structural adjustments.
- Expert Alterations: Perform complex alterations on Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Measure garments (canvassed jackets, trousers, outerwear) while preserving original construction techniques.
- Made-to-Measure Service: Partner with Sales Advisors to take precise measurements and guide clients through fabric selection and personalized details.
- Quality Control: Ensure every finished garment is flawless, meticulously pressed, and meets brand quality benchmarks before client delivery.
- Workshop Management: Organize the internal tailoring workflow to meet deadlines, particularly during peak seasonal periods.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 58 years of experience as a Tailor within Luxury Retail or Haute Couture.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of hand-stitching and machine-sewing techniques; deep knowledge of luxury fabrics and garment construction.
- Languages: Proficient in English (essential for client interaction in Dubai). Knowledge of Italian is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills: Impeccable grooming, discretion, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Precision: Extreme attention to detail and a passion for sartorial perfection.
