This opportunity is offered on a 3-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave coverage within the Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring business continuity and supporting ongoing hiring requirements during the assignment period.
Job Summary
This is a temporary 3-month maternity leave cover position. The resource will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process during the contract period. The role includes sourcing and attracting qualified candidates, partnering with hiring managers to meet hiring needs, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring a seamless candidate and employee experience. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain recruitment operations and stakeholder engagement while delivering against hiring timelines and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a 3-month maternity leave cover, the resource will be responsible for ensuring the seamless continuation of recruitment and onboarding activities across assigned business units while maintaining a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Handle the full recruitment cycle for assigned business areas, including sourcing, attracting, assessing, and selecting candidates in line with workforce planning requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and establish selection criteria.
- Prepare and publish job advertisements across recruitment channels, job boards, and social media platforms.
- Conduct proactive sourcing and talent mapping activities to support current and future hiring needs.
- Screen applications, assess candidate suitability, prepare interview guides, and conduct HR interviews.
- Coordinate interview processes and maintain effective communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Manage offer and pre-boarding activities, including coordinating joining dates.
- Ensure continuity of recruitment deliverables, stakeholder communication, and hiring timelines throughout the maternity cover period.
- Perform other duties within the scope assigned by the Performance Manager.
- Assume the authorities assigned to the role.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, AIHR) is an advantage.
Work Experience Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, preferably within a multinational organization or professional services environment.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Experience using recruitment systems, sourcing tools, and direct search methodologies.
Knowledge / Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and talent market trends.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; Arabic is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment tools, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Strong communication, interviewing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
