Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly tax returns, including VAT WHT
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) regulations and deadlines
- Review accounting records to ensure correct tax treatment
- Reconcile tax accounts and follow up on tax balances
- Assist in tax inspections and audits
- Prepare required schedules and documents for tax filings
- Monitor changes in Egyptian tax laws and assess their impact
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors
- Support annual income tax return preparation
- Handle ETA portal submissions and follow-ups
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of experience in taxation within Egypt
- Good knowledge of:
- Egyptian VAT Law
- Income Tax Law
- Withholding Tax regulations
- Experience dealing with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA)
- Familiarity with e-filing systems and tax portals
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Communication skills
