Role Description
- Prepare tax calculations and supporting schedules for corporate income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and other applicable taxes.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns in accordance with Egyptian tax regulations and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of tax transactions and ensure proper documentation for all tax-related activities.
- Review financial transactions and accounting records to ensure proper tax treatment.
- Support in responding to inquiries from tax authorities and external auditors.
- Prepare required documentation and schedules for tax audits and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor tax payments and ensure timely settlement of tax liabilities.
- Assist in monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations and support the implementation of required updates.
- Maintain organized tax files and ensure all tax documentation is audit ready.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting related to tax obligations.
- Support the preparation of internal tax reports and summaries for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in commerce Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in ERP systems and accounting software is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
