Tax Auditor

Our Firm announces Job Vacancy – Tax Auditor in Tax Audit and Consulting Services Department.

Job Objective / Summary:

Ensuring that business entities comply with tax regulations in the State of Kuwait (income tax, zakat, and national labor support tax) by reviewing tax returns, verifying the accuracy of tax calculations, and effectively coordinating with the Tax Department at the Ministry of Finance to ensure compliance and address any observations or discrepancies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Execution of tax audit service contracts for income tax, zakat, and national labor support tax in accordance with applicable tax laws and regulations and monitoring their updates.
2. Reviewing tax returns and verifying their accuracy and compliance with regulations.
3. Performing audit and examination procedures on financial records and data.
4. Preparing audit reports and documenting observations and recommendations.
5. Communicating and coordinating with the Tax Department at the Ministry of Finance and responding to inquiries.
6. Providing tax advisory services and support in tax planning and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting.

Professional Certificates:

Not required.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 3 -5 years in tax audit and consulting services in audit firms in Kuwait.

Skills:

• Knowledge of tax legislations applicable in the State of Kuwait.
• Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to draft reports and presentations in both Arabic and English.
