Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Tax Manager to join our Multinational Client from Construction Industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of United Arab Emirate tax laws, corporate governance and compliance, OECD requirements (such as Pillar II), and group-level tax optimization.

This role will oversee all aspects of taxation for both corporate entities and shareholders, ensuring full compliance with United Arab Emirate and international tax regulations while supporting strategic tax planning across the group. The Tax Manager will play a key role in managing tax operations, optimizing overall tax efficiency, and providing insights to senior management on cross-border tax implications and reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including United Arab Emirate Corporate Tax, VAT filings, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Lead tax planning and optimization strategies for both corporate entities and shareholders, ensuring efficient tax structuring across jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and review Pillar Two (OECD GloBE) reports and ensure compliance with United Arab Emirate Ministry of Finance regulations.
  • Oversee group-wide tax governance, ensuring alignment with applicable local and international reporting standards.
  • Review financial statements and advise management on tax implications of transactions, restructurings, and capital movements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities on audits, rulings, and compliance matters.
  • Monitor and assess changes in tax legislation, international reporting frameworks, and FTA guidelines, implementing timely updates.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on tax and compliance-related issues.
  • Support senior management in strategic decision-making, ensuring that business operations and shareholder structures remain tax-efficient and compliant.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in taxation within the United Arab Emirate or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of United Arab Emirate Corporate Tax, VAT, OECD Pillar Two (GloBE), and international tax planning.
  • Proven experience in tax audits, cross-border structuring, and shareholder-level tax optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax compliance software, and MS Office applications.
