Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our Finance Department to primarily assist with global minimum tax and cross border taxation by supporting the Tax function in complying with the OECD Pillar Two framework, including Domestic / Qualified Domestic Minimum Top‑Up Tax (DMTT / QDMTT) requirements within the UAE and other jurisdictions, Country-by-Country Reporting as well as assisting with international tax matters and transfer pricing assessments, including related documentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Pillar Two/Global Minimum Tax

  • Support data collection, validation, and reconciliation for entity-level Pillar Two calculations, including GloBE income, adjusted covered taxes, and ETR.
  • Assist in preparing Pillar Two working files and DMTT / QDMTT templates in line with local compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors, ensuring accurate documentation, audit trails, and supporting schedules.

Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR)

  • Assist in the collection, validation, and consolidation of CbCR data across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support preparation of CbCR filings and perform reconciliations with financial statements and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Maintain working papers and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.

International Tax Support

  • Evaluate tax implications of cross-border transactions, including intercompany arrangements and cost allocations.
  • Support tax structuring initiatives and contribute to drafting international tax memoranda.
  • Monitor tax law developments across the UAE and other jurisdictions, highlighting potential business impacts.

Transfer Pricing

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation (master file/local file).
  • Support review of intercompany transactions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Contribute to transfer pricing projects, including policy development, functional analysis, and benchmarking studies.

Compliance, Coordination & General Support

  • Support timely tax filings through coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Assist with administrative tax matters and ongoing or new tax-related projects.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality, governance, and documentation standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, law and/or related field with up to three years of tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Pillar Two/Global Minimum Tax, with exposure to international tax and transfer pricing.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and data-handling skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle Fusion knowledge is an advantage.
