The Bodyshop Team Leader oversees vehicle repairs, ensuring high-quality work, efficient job distribution, and compliance with company policies. This role involves supervising technicians, coordinating with Service Advisors, and maintaining workshop efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign repair jobs based on technician skills and monitor progress.
- Conduct quality checks on in-progress and completed repairs.
- Assist Service Advisors with estimates and customer coordination.
- Ensure efficient workflow, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
- Oversee parts requisition, storage, and returns.
- Enforce workshop safety, maintain cleanliness, and inspect tools.
- Train staff and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Report technical issues and support continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of automotive Bodyshop experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in denting, painting, and repair processes.
- Excellent team management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. UAE driving license preferred.
