Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review project cost estimates and budgets for MEP works
• Manage subcontractor packages including tendering, evaluation, and contract administration
• Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and variation orders
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Measure quantities and prepare BOQs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works
• Review subcontractor claims and support dispute resolution when required
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure commercial compliance
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 8 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying or commercial roles
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, contracts, and cost control procedures
• Experience in site-based project environments
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools
