Scope of the Role
Lead the technical architectural team in delivering high-quality, code-compliant, and fully coordinated architectural packages across all project stages. The Team Leader is responsible for task distribution, quality assurance, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure successful project execution aligned with the company's standards and client requirements.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Receive the schematic design package from the Project Manager to initiate the Design Development phase.
Distribute tasks among the team and follow up on execution to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Review and coordinate with the Design and Urban Planning departments to understand the project vision and specific requirements, and proceed with design development.
Review and verify alignment between floor plans, marketing perspectives, and saleable area documents to avoid conflicts among them or with project regulations.
Review the application of code requirements, ensure fulfillment of consultants requirements, and verify the building footprint to ensure all project aspects are covered.
Review the Basis of Design Report (BODR), which explains the architectural elements of the project, and present it to the client to communicate the general concept of the project.
Review the structural proposal and ensure its alignment with the architectural design to maintain the form and function of the architectural product, and coordinate with the specialized consultant.
Send architectural drawings to the consultants to obtain the requirements and conditions of other disciplines (Structural, Electromechanical, Landscape, Urban Design, Interior Design, etc.).
Review and follow up on the preparation of all architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, etc.) in accordance with local codes and building regulations, and present them to the direct manager.
Discuss proposed modifications from consultants with the direct manager to reach a final proposal that maintains the architectural integrity of the design.
Review permit drawings (floor plans, elevations, architectural sections) for submission to the relevant government authorities to obtain the building permit.
Ensure coordination and compatibility of all architectural drawings with other disciplines (Structural, MEP, etc.).
Coordinate between the Technical Office and the Design Department to define and select the project finishes.
Finalize and follow up on detailed architectural drawings (wall sections, door and window schedules, etc.) to issue the tender drawing package.
Finalize and follow up on the Issued for Construction (IFC) architectural drawings based on the client's request and manage site-related inquiries.
Coordinate all the above-mentioned tasks across all assigned projects.
Supervise all tasks assigned to subordinate Senior Executive Architects.
Attend meetings with the Project Management team to discuss technical aspects of the projects.
Develop work plans for all projects assigned.

Professional Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
10+ years of relevant experience in technical architecture, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of codes, detailing, and construction documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software.
Experience in coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
