Job Summary

GMG is seeking a highly organized and commercially driven Team Sports Marketing Executive to manage the full spectrum of team sports operations across Nike's clubs, academies, and federation partnerships. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless end-to-end management of team sports accounts, covering order processing, contract management, product servicing, and execution of kit launches and seasonal activations.

The ideal candidate will have strong account management experience within sports or retail apparel, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional service experience to partner clubs and academies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Sports Account Management

  • Manage commercial relationships across football clubs, academies, schools, gyms, and federations.
  • Maintain all team sports contracts, ensuring compliance with Nike's tiering strategy and partnership standards.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all product-related needs, inquiries, and operational requirements.

Order Management & Product Servicing

  • Oversee team sports order cycles during Nike seasonal order windows.
  • Support order forecasting, submission, and tracking for all club and academy accounts.
  • Manage additional or ad hoc product requests based on availability and club requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products, kits, and team bundles.

Commercial Operations & Sales Support

  • Maintain and manage all commercial transactions related to jerseys, kits, and team sports products.
  • Ensure accuracy across order timelines, pricing, allocations, and post-order servicing.
  • Support clubs and academies with merchandising requirements and product distribution planning.
  • Track and manage team sports sales performance against budgets and customer targets.

Kit Launches & Marketing Activation

  • Collaborate on the execution of kit launches, including badging, jersey designs, seasonal photoshoots, and rollout planning.
  • Support Nike's team sports marketing strategy through event coordination and brand activation opportunities.
  • Partner with internal brand and marketing teams to ensure alignment with global and regional guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to streamline team sports workflows.
  • Coordinate with external partners such as clubs, federations, marketing agencies, and production vendors.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance account servicing.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in Sports Marketing or Brand Management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 56 years of experience in Sports Marketing, Sales, or Account Management, ideally within team sports or sportswear/apparel.
  • Proven experience managing club, academy, or team sports partnerships.
  • Exposure to order management, product servicing, and campaign or kit launch execution.

Skills

  • Strong account and relationship management experience (preferably sports accounts).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory).
  • Experience with SAP / ERP / Oracle systems (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of order planning, inventory coordination, and logistics flows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in retail apparel or sporting goods is preferred.
  • Fluent English required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
