Job Title: TA Supervisor

Position Purpose
The TA Supervisor oversees and coordinates all Technical Accommodation (TA) operations, including unit assessments, turnaround workflows, material requests, contractor performance, and adherence to TQA standards. The role ensures timely delivery of ready units, accurate reporting, and full accountability over operational materials and assets. Coming from hospitality (Hotels) experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Supervise daily TA operations: unit inspections, preparations, handovers, refurbishments, and closures.
- Ensure completion of full TQA assessments and rectification of all snags before releasing units.
- Coordinate with General Services, Technical Services, contractors, and cleaning teams to meet turnaround timelines.
Quality, Compliance & Reporting
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with TQA and quality guidelines.
- Ensure audits and inspections feature photo evidence via run-report or approved digital tools.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly reports and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Maintain adherence to operational manuals, HSE guidelines, and reporting protocols.
Material Control, MRE & GRN
- Raise MREs for furniture, appliance replacements, refurbishments, and operational materials.
- Track MRE submissions and follow up with procurement until delivery.
- Inspect delivered items for specification and quality compliance.
- Prepare and validate GRNs for received materials, ensuring proper documentation, tagging, and system updates.
- Oversee storage, handling, and issuance of inventory per control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and escalate replenishment needs.
Contractor & Vendor Coordination
- Ensure contractor adherence to TA Assessment Guidelines and SLAs.
- Validate work completion before sign-off or recommending payment.
- Escalate recurring delays, issues, or poor workmanship to management.
Team Leadership
- Lead TA assistants, inspectors, and support staff to ensure accurate and timely task execution.
- Provide coaching, operational direction, and daily briefings.
- Deliver performance feedback and support development of team members.
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate with Facility Management, EFM, Technical Services, Housing, and General Services.
- Communicate planned works, operational updates, and urgent notifications.
- Flag risks, delays, or operational challenges to management.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Oversee inspection of appliances, furniture, and assets during move-in/move-out.
- Validate replacement needs and keep asset tracking systems updated.
- Support forecasting of materials and asset requirements for upcoming operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accommodation operations and technical standards.
- Proficiency with inventory systems, MRE workflows, and GRN documentation.
- Ability to manage contractors and uphold quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Skilled in digital reporting and inspection tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Facilities Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in accommodation operations or facilities supervision.
- Experience with procurement workflows, MRE/GRN processes, and contractor management.
- Knowledge of quality audits, asset management, and operational reporting.
