Responsible for producing all architectural and interiors design packages required through design and construction phases. Responsible for assessing the assigned job activity for detailing requirements and translating these requirements into drawings and component lists for production & erection within the scheduled time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assesses the work order to confirm correctness of detailing documentation.
- Prepares shop drawings, and order details drawings for the assigned job activity for checking.
- Prepares approval drawings as instructed by his Group Engineer
- Coordinates with his Group Engineer to resolve job activity queries.
- Corrects and implements checking errors.
- Plans to finish his work according to the schedules and deadlines assigned.
- Production of CAD and Revit 3D models and drawing packages, including plans, elevations, sections, and detail design drawings.
- Creation of Revit families for all component parts.
- Working closely with senior design team on architecture, interiors and structural design feasibility and design limitations during concept design phase.
- Preparation of drawings for architectural, interiors and Municipality approvals.
- Preparation of As Built drawings.
- Coordination with Structural Engineer and any relevant consultants for design devolvement and approvals.
- Completion of all necessary paperwork and following Arena drawing standards, design work processes, methodologies and filing system.
- Sharing of knowledge with other team members.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of international drafting standard and practice.
- Experience in steel fabrication drawings.
- Excellent level of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge in interiors detailing for fitout
- Knowledge of Revit and Tekla is an added advantage.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- A motivated and positive person, eager to learn all aspects of our design and build service.
- An eye for detail.
- Self-starter, able to take initiative and responsibility.
Education and Experience:
- 5 to 6 years experience in steel building structures.
