About this role:
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to plan and design the construction project, considering factors such as budget, timeline, and resources.
- Overseeing and managing the construction process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring that the project adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Providing technical guidance and expertise on various aspects of construction, such as structural design, materials selection, and construction methods.
- Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure that construction materials and methods meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Monitoring and managing the project budget, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensuring that the construction project complies with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Facilitating effective communication among the project team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed about project progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the construction project, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and any changes made during the construction process.
Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

Information Security responsibilities:
- Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
- Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
- Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
- Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
- Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
- Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
- Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Field experience is an added advantage.
Must be detail-oriented and technically sound with good communication skills..
