Technical Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically competent Technical Engineer to support joinery project execution under Elegancia Joinery. The role involves coordinating technical aspects of joinery works, ensuring accurate drawings, material specifications, and smooth project delivery from design through installation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in joinery projects, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with design, production, and site teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery items (cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall panels, etc.).
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings into production-ready technical drawings.
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure proper execution.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with client requirements and standards.
• Assist in material selection and finishes related to joinery works.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and installation details.
• Revise drawings based on engineer/client feedback.
• Ensure all drawings follow industry standards and company guidelines.

Support cost estimation teams by providing accurate material take-offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Interior Design
• 0–3 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing and materials.

Proficiency in:

• AutoCAD (essential)
• SketchUp / Revit (preferred)
• Microsoft Office

Understanding technical drawing standards and construction methods.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
