Job Purpose
Responsible for the technical delivery of surveying and site geometry, ensuring accurate implementation through
the review of layout drawings, coordinate data, and benchmarks. Supports integration with design requirements
and resolves layout issues to maintain construction accuracy and project timelines
Principal Accountabilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures

Projects Technicality Operation
- Coordinate and arrange all technical aspects of surveying and geometry works, including setting out, leveling,
alignments, and site control for infrastructure, roads, and buildings.
- Review and approve survey reports, benchmarks, control point layouts, and coordinate systems to ensure
accuracy and alignment with project design data.
- Resolve technical issues related to land measurements, geometric conflicts, or site constraints, and lead the
preparation of related RFIs when required.
- Validate subcontractors survey data against IFC drawings, approved shop drawings, and construction
tolerances to ensure implementation accuracy.
- Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure correct interpretation and application of geometry
data on site.
- Evaluate surveying tools, GPS systems, and related technologies, ensuring the adoption of the most accurate
and up-to-date methods.
- Guide surveyors and junior engineers on geometric control, data verification, documentation, and monitor
surveying activities to identify risks, deviations, or rework areas.
Self-Management
- Align work progress with technical goals set by engineering management and submit periodic updates on
surveying operations.
- Enhance technical knowledge in surveying tools, digital mapping, and coordinate management systems, while
staying updated with new practices and technologies in construction geometry, geospatial systems, and BIM-
based surveying workflows.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics / Surveying Engineering
- 5-8 Years of relevant experience in construction technicality
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment (Total Station,
- GPS)
- Strong understanding of site geometry, alignment, levels, and benchmarks
- Review and coordination of setting-out drawings and site layout plans
- Technical review of survey reports and coordinate data
- Coordination with roads, structure, utilities, and site engineering teams
- Managing RFIs and resolving discrepancies in geometric data
- Site support for layout implementation and conflict resolution
- AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency for geometry and profiles
- Familiarity with geospatial and alignment standards (e.g., SBC, project specs)
- Reporting, documentation, and data tracking
- Supervision and training of junior surveyors and CAD technicians
- Communication with consultants, site teams, and QA/QC
