Technical Manager (Insurance)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical underwriting function across General Insurance lines and Marine
• Provide technical expertise on complex risks and underwriting decisions
• Strong experience in reinsurance to oversee reinsurance placement and support structuring of large and complex risks
• Ensure underwriting practices align with company guidelines and profitability targets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Strong technical experience in General Lines and Marine insurance
• Solid experience in reinsurance and handling complex placements
• Previous experience in the UAE insurance market is preferred
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
