Responsible for managing all technical, engineering, and production coordination activities in the woodwork/joinery factory to ensure accurate drawings, efficient production, and high-quality final products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and review shop drawings, cutting lists, and material schedules.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and project teams.
- Support production by resolving technical issues and ensuring correct fabrication methods.
- Oversee quality control across cutting, assembly, finishing, and packing.
- Manage material selection and reduce waste through optimized production techniques.
- Supervise and develop the technical team (draftsmen, engineers, CNC programmers).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related Field
- 8+ years experience in joinery/woodwork, including managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of woodwork fabrication, materials, and finishing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and woodworking software; CNC knowledge is a plus.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
