Join our team at OAK Design Studio as a Technical Office Architect, where you'll turn creative visions into detailed architectural solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure every design meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop architectural shop drawings and detailed design documents based on initial design concepts.
  • Develop technical drawings and specifications that are structurally sound and comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure design consistency and technical accuracy.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper execution of the design intent.
  • Review project specifications and ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Participate in coordination meetings to address technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Support site teams by providing technical clarifications and updates as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and ensure designs are executed according to specifications.
  • Ensure all designs meet local and international building codes, safety standards, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 23 years of professional experience in technical office work, shop drawing preparation, or architectural design projects.
  • Proven ability to manage design deliverables and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp).
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, construction detailing, and materials.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
  • Work Location: El-Sheikh Zayed
