OAK Design Studio as a
Technical Office Architect, where you'll turn creative visions into detailed architectural solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure every design meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop architectural shop drawings and detailed design documents based on initial design concepts.
- Develop technical drawings and specifications that are structurally sound and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure design consistency and technical accuracy.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper execution of the design intent.
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Participate in coordination meetings to address technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Support site teams by providing technical clarifications and updates as needed.
- Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and ensure designs are executed according to specifications.
- Ensure all designs meet local and international building codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 23 years of professional experience in technical office work, shop drawing preparation, or architectural design projects.
- Proven ability to manage design deliverables and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp).
- Excellent understanding of design principles, construction detailing, and materials.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
