Responsibilities:
- Quantity Surveying: Accurately calculate material quantities and project costs, maintaining precise records and supporting the project team with budget management.
- Invoices: Prepare and verify invoices for clients and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project progress and contract terms.
- Cost Estimation: Perform detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and services. Support tendering processes by preparing BOQs, pricing breakdowns, and value engineering options to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Time Scheduling: Develop, update, and monitor project time schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks, coordinating with project teams to track progress.
- Shop Drawings: Produce and review shop drawings based on consultant designs, ensuring compatibility with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- As-Built Drawings: Document any changes from the original design, creating comprehensive as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and quick resolution of technical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project timelines, quantities, changes, and correspondence, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a technical office or project management role, preferably within the fit-out or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
