Role Description
The Technical Office Engineer - Architecture will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, supporting the development and review of BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and collaborating with engineering teams. The role also involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt.
Qualifications
Prepare 3D Interior designs for various types of spaces
Prepare Architectural Shop drawings.
Prepare BOQ's, time schedules, and estimate Project cost and cash flows.
Coordination between Architectural, Structural and Mechanical designs and prepare drawings reports and Resolve arising conflicts between various design components.
Review and analyze all drawings received from the consultants.
Study and archive all projects Documentation including design drawings, time schedules,contracts, financial offers, etc.
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural and civil designs.
Check materials specifications and the ability to be used on site.
Prepare periodical reports such as Quantity Executed, Invoices.
Create any required construction details. And regularly updating the construction details library.
Responsible for regularly updating the Vendors List of manufacturers and suppliers.
Regularly following up with Site works and submit site reports and coordination with the construction team.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering.
Enrolled in engineering syndicate.
4-5 years of experience in technical office work.
Strong knowledge of using REVIT, 3D MAX, PhotoShop, AutoCAD, MS Office is a must.
Strong knowledge of spoken and written English.
High Coordination skills.
