Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Technical Office Engineer Assistant located in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves reviewing and preparing shop drawings, assisting with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and supporting the design and execution of civil and electrical engineering projects. The engineer assistant will collaborate with project teams, assist in quantity surveying tasks, and ensure the accuracy and quality of all technical documentation to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Solid knowledge of Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Quantity Surveying methods, estimate preparation, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills in project environments.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in the construction or engineering industry is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
