Position: Technical Office Engineer - Furniture

Job Overview:

The Technical Engineer Furniture Production is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and supporting CNC manufacturing operations within the furniture production line. The role requires strong expertise in CNC programming, particularly with HOMAG machines and WoodWOP software, to ensure efficient machining, optimized production processes, and adherence to quality standards. The engineer works closely with production teams to align engineering drawings, machining programs, and tooling selections with manufacturing capabilities and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed technical drawings for furniture and joinery production.
• Develop and manage CNC machining programs using WoodWOP for HOMAG machines.
• Optimize machining processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and minimal material waste.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and provide technical support to production teams.
• Define tooling requirements and cutting parameters based on machine capabilities and material specifications.
• Ensure that all technical drawings and machining programs meet production and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation for technical drawings, CNC programs, and production processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, joinery production, or CNC machining environments.
• Strong experience with HOMAG machines and WoodWOP programming is required.
• Good understanding of CNC machine tools, machining parameters, and furniture production processes.
