Collaborate with project managers, on site teams to ensure seamless integration of technical and construction processes and timely delivery of project milestones.
Work closely with project management team to track project budgets and schedules, providing technical solutions to maintain project timelines.
Cost Estimation:
Prepare, review and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and in line with project forecasts.
Ensure quantity take-offs, cost estimation and material procurement schedules.
Design Review:
Ensure all construction designs adhere to project speciafications, codes, and safety standards.
Oversee the preparation and distribution of project drawings, documents and technical submissions.
Manage the process for design changes and variations, ensure timely communication and implementation.
Planning:
Work closely with project planning team engineers to develop detailed schedules, tracking project milestones and deliverables.
Quality Control:
Ensure the accuracy, quality and compliance of all technical deliverables including material approvals and technical submittals.
Team Leadership:
Lead and monitor the performance of technical office engineers, creating a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Problem Solving:
Provide technical advice and solutions to any challenges or issues that arise during projects execution.
Identify potential technical risks in the construction process and propose mitigation strategies.
Project Documentation:
Supervise and manage the preparation, review and submission of all technical documents including designs, drawings, and specifications.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports to top management on project progress and technical challenges that may arise.
Specifications (Qualifications, Experience, And Skills)
Bachelors degree in engineering Civil.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial or leadership role.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g Primavera is a must, Microsoft Office, Cad 2D and ERP systems is a plus).
