Job Description

A leading architectural and interior design firm with offices in Cairo and Dubai, delivering design and execution solutions across the MENA region and the US. Renowned for integrated project delivery and high-end design standards, the firm blends creative vision with precise execution to craft exceptional spaces.

Location: Sheikh Zayed, Giza

Key Duties:

  • Lead the preparation, review, and coordination of architectural shop drawings in line with project specifications, approved IFC drawings, and consultant requirements.
  • Oversee and validate AutoCAD-based shop drawing production, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with codes, bylaws, and site conditions.
  • Prepare and review BOM and BOQ, ensuring quantities align with approved drawings and executed works.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on material submittals for consultant approval, ensuring compliance with specifications and project standards.
  • Issue and manage RFIs, coordinating responses with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support document control by ensuring proper issuance, tracking, and distribution of approved drawings and revisions.
  • Handle as-built drawings preparation and verification for final handover documentation.
  • Review tender documents and technical submissions, providing technical input and clarifications as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on subcontractors technical progress, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and schedules.
  • Review subcontractor invoices based on executed quantities and approved scope of work.
  • Perform quantity surveying for architectural works when required and support monthly progress claims.
  • Collect and consolidate all required technical data to support coordinated and compliant project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a Technical Office role, with clear exposure to large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven expertise in AutoCAD and architectural shop drawing production (hands-on, non-negotiable).
  • Strong experience in BOM/BOQ preparation, material submittals, and quantity surveying.
  • Solid understanding of construction codes, bylaws, specifications, and site execution requirements.
  • Experience handling RFIs, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.
  • Strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work under delivery pressure.
  • Supervisor mindset: capable of reviewing others work, enforcing standards, and driving technical
