Technical Lead / Technical Officer
Role Objective
To lead and manage all technical aspects of the project, ensuring the efficient operation and continuous development of the inspection platform. The role focuses on enabling seamless integration with related systems, maintaining high service availability and quality, and aligning all technical implementations with cybersecurity and compliance standards. This position plays a key role in supporting decision-making, enhancing compliance, and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, development, and hosting of the inspection platform, ensuring performance and availability aligned with defined KPIs.
• Analyze the operating model and align it with the platform to enhance digital workflows and inspection procedures.
• Lead system integrations with internal and external platforms (e.g., licensing, permits, government services) to ensure smooth data exchange.
• Monitor system performance, user management, technical support, and usage analytics to optimize efficiency.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, including releases and periodic updates.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, data protection policies, and incident response procedures.
• Oversee system testing phases (SIT/UAT) and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Prepare and review technical and operational reports, leveraging data insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational teams (inspection, quality, training, awareness) to align technical solutions with field operations.
• Supervise knowledge transfer and ensure structured, sustainable system handover.
• Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans, including business continuity and disaster recovery (BCP/DR).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback and business needs.
• Manage vendors and ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Oversee change management processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Support leadership with dashboards and performance reporting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in managing technical systems or digital projects (preferably in inspection platforms or government systems).
Required Competencies
• Strong skills in requirements analysis and solution design.
• Ability to produce and present professional technical and operational reports.
• PMP, CBAP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
• Hands-on experience in managing digital platforms and system integrations.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection standards.
• Excellent communication skills with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to build dashboards.
