Technical Presales Engineer

Position: ELV Presales Engineer

Location: UAE

Experience Required: 25 years

Industry: Low Current / MEP / Systems Integration

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs for ELV & Security systems (CCTV, AV, GRMS lighting control, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, etc.)

Prepare detailed cost estimates and material take-offs (MTOs)

Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and ensure technical compliance

Develop and submit techno-commercial proposals for tenders

Perform value engineering to optimize design and cost without compromising quality

Support sales and project execution teams with estimation-related queries

Maintain accurate and updated pricing records and vendor databases

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or Equivalent

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools

Strong understanding of ELV systems and applicable standards

Familiarity with MEP coordination and ELV integration

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Experience working on projects in the UAE/GCC is highly preferred
