Overview: We are seeking an innovative Project Manager, ideally with a background in mechatronics or mechanical engineering to lead a variety of projects at our interactive technology firm. This role is pivotal for ensuring project completion from conception to implementation, prioritizing client satisfaction and maintaining our high standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
- Spearhead project management processes from initial client interaction to successful final delivery.
- Handle all project stages, including concept development, design, production, and execution.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with a growing team of 20+ professionals, including creatives, engineers, and mechatronics specialists, along with external partners and suppliers.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Client Relations and Business Development:
- Act as the main point of contact for client communication and relationship management.
- Drive business growth through new client acquisition and maintain existing client relationships.
- Oversee quotations, invoicing and manage financial transactions with clients.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize proficiency in project management and CRM software, as well as 3D CAD tools like AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Nice to have: knowledge in embedded development or Unity.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master or Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years in project management, preferably in engineering or technology sectors.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in PM and CRM tools, 3D CAD, and ideally some experience in embedded coding or Unity.
- Personal Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication in English and Arabic, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Additional Information:
- Industry Focus: Experience in events, experiential technology, AV, mechatronics, construction or architecture is highly beneficial.
- Reporting and Performance: Report to the Director of Operations and be evaluated based on client satisfaction, budget management, revenue, timelines, and quality of delivery.
