Job Description

For our client, a well-established medical devices business, we are seeking a highly motivated and Professional Trainer - Technical Service based in Dubai, UAE. This role will be responsible for implementation of technical education for technicians at the business partners across the META region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire skill and knowledge of repair process by receiving technical training when new product is launched and be responsible to deploy the new technology to distributors by conducting the required service trainings.
  • Align with different business units on the new product launch and ensure proper training plans to get the partner ready for execution afterwards.
  • Plan, arrange and execute annual service trainings to close local gaps and meet the required annual strategy.
  • Ensure maintaining all the required tools & jigs to properly execute the agreed training plans.
  • After conducting the service training, implement evaluation of trainees and proceed with certification, also maintain all the required certification records updated for trace ability.
  • Be responsible to support, monitor & coach distributors to ensure having the right performance in country in accordance with global standards, and then provide the appropriate suggestion for improvements.
  • Review the local monthly repairs performance to improve local capabilities through country workshops unplanned visits and share best practice opportunities to reduce local turnaround time.
  • Review and support business partners when it comes to technical repair queries.
  • Work with the service operations specialist to ensure updated training license renewals by business partners.
  • Work closely with EMEA L&D team and follow the same training processes, guidelines and standards.
  • Possibly to support RRC Dubai team as required to maintain the relevant repair skills & get updated with the latest service training modifications & instructions

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Bio-Medical, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university (or equivalent knowledge), required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Certified/licensed trainer on the assigned products.
  • Minimum five years experience as a Field Service Engineer in medical area.
  • Experience working with distributors and/or previous experience on working with distributors.
  • Basic financial understanding of the business.
  • Availability to travel as business required.
  • Teamwork oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated decision making ability towards solving problems, while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to co-workers and distributors.
  • General understanding of business policies and practices.
