NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is on a mission to make a carbon-free, climate-safe future a reality. We are building the world's largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-efficient solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy. Located in NEOM and supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, NGHC will be integrating up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. NGHC brings together the technology, operational efficiency and know-how of ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM in a joint-venture partnership with over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of hydrogen, energy, renewables and global networks.

JOB DETAILS

Division: Technical Services Lead

REPORTS TO: Security Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for executing all security obligations as outlined in NGHC's Access Control Procedures. The Technical Services Lead supports the Security Manager by managing documentation reviews (visas, Iqamas, insurance, vehicle inspections), issuing and rescinding access tokens, and leading a small team of badging staff.

NATURE & SCOPE

The Technical Services Lead ensures secure and efficient access control operations across all NGHC sites.

This includes managing ID issuance systems, biometric infrastructure, and compliance audits.

The role supports the Security Manager and leads a small team to uphold industrial security standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

Ensure accurate issuance and revocation of access cards for employees, contractors, visitors, and equipment.

Maintain all materials and tools used in the card issuance process and preserve their records.

Support management in the full implementation of entry and exit procedures.

Establish, monitor, and continuously improve ID card and vehicle permit issuance processes.

SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

  • High levels of communication (written and oral communication), strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team as an internal service provider.

  • Manage the access control system and associated devices across all sites, ensuring accurate granting/removal of access rights.
  • Develop a maintenance program for access infrastructure (e.g., turnstiles, ID readers) and monitor quality of preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues related to access infrastructure.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of consumables (cards, lanyards, holders, printer ink, etc.).
  • Facilitate monthly audits of access procedures by the Security Department.
  • Collect biometric data from employees and contractors as part of the ID issuance process.
  • Ensure enforcement of penalties for lost ID cards.
  • Archive and document all photos and records related to issued IDs and access control.
  • Authenticate handprint biometric cards for employees and contractors.
  • Research and propose modern systems to improve ID issuance and access control devices.
  • Supervise daily security operations and staff.
  • Oversee Entry Control Points, Emergency Response, Traffic Management, and Visitor Centre.
  • Respond to incidents and coordinate follow-up.
  • Monitor service delivery and KPIs of security providers.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS&S procedures.

MINIMUM YEARS EXCPERIENCE IN SIMILAR JOB ROLE:

6 years experience working in a similar technical security focused role.

MINIMUM YEARS OF MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE:

3 years experience in and leadership role.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in security systems engineering

Approval from the High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS)
